Shipping
Ordering from EU countries and Switzerland
Because of EU packaging rules (PPWR and the national packaging regulations), we cannot ship directly to every EU country. The countries we can currently ship to are listed on the shipping costs page.
If your country is not on that list, you can still buy. Use a forwarding service that gives you a delivery address in Germany. We ship only to that German address. The service then forwards the parcel to you.
How to order
- Open an account with a forwarding service. You will receive a German delivery address and, usually, a customer number.
- Order from us in the usual way. Give the service’s German address as the delivery address, including the customer number or address line the service requires. Without that reference the service often cannot match the parcel to you.
- Once payment has been received in full, we send the order by DHL to that address in Germany only. Our part of the shipping ends there.
- The forwarding service notifies you and forwards the parcel to your country. You pay that service’s fees, transit time and insurance directly to the service, not to us.
- Shellac records are fragile. Before you order, ask the service whether it forwards the parcel unopened or repacks it, and whether breakage-resistant packing is available.
Examples of services
The following providers, as far as we can tell, offer a German delivery address and forward parcels. The list is only an example, not a ranking.
- mailboxde.com
- forward2me (German warehouse address; took over the former myGermany service)
- Shippn
Pickup in Germany from border regions
If you live near the border, you may be able to collect the parcel in Germany instead of having it forwarded abroad. Whether that is possible near you, which locker or shop applies, and what it costs, is something you need to check with the provider.
- myflexbox – parcel lockers, including in Germany. Collection from a locker may be possible.
- Swiss-Paket – German delivery address, forwarding to Switzerland, and pickup at locations near the border, for example Weil am Rhein, Rheinfelden, Laufenburg, Waldshut and Jestetten.
There is no business relationship, cooperation or shareholding between ALLOTRIA, Andreas Muschter and the providers named on this page. That includes myflexbox and Swiss-Paket. We do not broker orders, we receive no payment from them, and we do not keep checking their services. Terms, prices, locations and whether pickup in Germany is offered can change. Please check this yourself before you order.
We accept no liability for the service’s performance, delays or damage after the parcel has been handed over to the forwarding service. Any customs duties, taxes and import charges in the destination country are yours to pay, where they apply.
